Daniel Ortiz, MD, provides the latest advances in cardiac care to his patients. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juarez. Dr. Ortiz furthered his medical training at Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he completed his cardiovascular and interventional cardiology fellowships.
Dr. Ortiz discovered his interest in research early in his career and received several awards for his work while at Aurora Health Care - Saint Luke's Vascular Center. He has led studies to improve cardiac care that have been published in medical journals, and he has been a featured speaker at numerous medical conferences. He is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board certified in nuclear cardiology.
A believer in giving back to the community, Dr. Ortiz has shared his time and talents volunteering at free clinics and providing care to orphans. In his free time, he enjoys being outdoors, running, photography, live music and playing the piano. He is also actively involved in his church. Dr. Ortiz speaks fluent Spanish.
