Dr. Mendez was born and raised in Torreon, Mexico. His special interests in cardiology include valvular disease and atherosclerosis, interventional cardiology including coronary & peripheral vascular interventions, PFO & ASO closure and aortic valvuloplasty. Interacting with his patients and taking the time to listen to their concerns is very important to Dr. Mendez. In his free time, Dr. Mendez enjoys hiking, tennis, and cycling.
