His special interests in cardiology include cardiac arrhythmia devices and heart failure management. He has also worked in academia as Assistant Clinical professor of medicine at Texas Tech University at El Paso. Dr. Taveras is committed to taking the time to listen to his patients to ensure they are well taken care of. In his free time, Dr. Taveras enjoys cycling and reading history books.
